A person in love rarely stops thinking and talking about the object of their affection. A person who has genuinely experienced Jesus Christ expresses a similar compulsion (Acts 4:20). Sadly, personal evangelism is not just a process of explaining truth until another person understands and then automatically makes the choice to believe in Jesus. If you don't believe in Jesus then you don't believe in everything, and you in fact miss the most important part. You must have faith in Jesus, not just in God. Jesus is God. If you don't know Jesus, you don't know God. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes before the father except by him.
That is wrong and should have been better edited to make it clear. 5. The final page asks the child to do 2 things: Believe in Jesus and Receive God's gift. I think this doesn't make any sense at a child's level. For my child, that is like asking her to believe that Mommy is her real mommy, and accept her Mommy's gift of love.
In fact, the word “believe” shows up in John’s account of the ministry of Jesus 98 times. More than any of the other gospels. And the root word, ‘ belie ’ shows up 292 times!
